No, beating Sifu isn't comparable to getting gold at the Olympics, lmao. ![]() The pretentiousness surrounding this game's difficulty is hilarious. Making a game accessible to everyone isnt always a good thing. Cultivating a niche cult fan base is usually not achieved by appealing to the masses. If the devs want more people to play their game, that will always be sacrificing something (fun, style, challenge, design). And it’s a change that affects the legacy of the game. That’s great, but it’s a different vision from release. If the devs decide that adding easy to Sifu coincides with their vision. If they release a game that is fun for blind people, but isn’t fun if you can see, too bad they never expected you to buy it. If the devs release a tabletop style Batman game, but you are mad that they didn’t make an Arkham style game instead… too bad the game isn’t for you and wasn’t made for you. A niche game isn’t put out in the world where the devs hope that everyone plays it. At the end of the day, the devs decide what their game should be. It’s also like people who used to play sports, at some point you can no longer play the sport at the level you used to.Īccessibility in games is a complicated subject. The game just isn’t meant for you anymore or get used to playing at lower rank. That’s like getting mad that you can’t rank as high in CoD or counter strike because of your old age.
